Can it be? Surfing right in the wake of our namesake Flatiron Building on a sunny May afternoon? Yes, it is – come and see!   Tourists associate a lot of things with New Zealand. Personally, we think of Russell Crowe, Peter Jackson, Lord of the Rings, Flight of the Conchords, a heated rivalry with Australia and sheep; LOTS of sheep! Then, of course, there’s surfing. New Zealand is home to some of the best surfing spots in the world. In a promotional event held at Flatiron North Public Plaza, Shout Products is hosting a promotion to showcase a random drawing contest in which a winner and one guest will receive two free tickets to New Zealand. To enter, post on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtags  “#shoutitout”  –  get it? –  and “#enter”.  Shout is also awarding instant-win prizes to seven lucky winners who participate in TheColorRun events at select locations in multiple cities (see the link below for details). To win the latter prizes, participants are invited to strike a pose on a surfboard above a landscape like the one below, taken right in the Flatiron District. Just don’t wipe out!
