The Flatiron Public Plazas continue to be a locus of many of the nation’s biggest companies’ efforts to promote their new eco-friendly, green products. Scott used the dramatic backdrop of the Flatiron Public Plaza North to showcase their latest “green” product, the “Scott’s Natural Tube-Free” brand. Yes, believe it or not, this latest Scott’s toilet paper has no tube in it. And, according to their perky and helpful staffers on site, that will save enough used tubes to fill the Empire State Building to the brim twice over based on consumption in Gotham! To drive home that point, a scale model of the Empire State Building Itself was on hand, flanking our own Flatiron Building for some nice photo-ops for district passers-by. And they were giving out free rolls on Thursday – in fact they are there until 4 PM ,so don’t miss your chance for a free roll, and to be part of an effort to save paper, trees, and landfill! Tweet out with hashtag #tossthetube to let everyone know how to get in on the responsible efforts.
