As the Flatiron District and its residents deal with an onslaught of snowy weather, some new neighbors reared their chilly heads in the Flatiron South Public Plaza. “Snow Monsters,” the latest piece in Swiss artist Peter Regli’s Reality Hacking series, provides a fun sight for pedestrians as they stroll down 23rd Street past the Flatiron Building. It consists of 12 snowmen, partially melted, sporting exuberant looks as they bask in endless photo opportunities with delighted children and adults, alike.
