Kanye West is coming to New York City’s Flatiron District on February 12th to perform a free concert ahead of NBA All-Star Weekend. Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder will also appear at the event, sponsored by rapper Jay Z’s Roc Nation entertainment company. The 1st Annual Roc City Classic will begin at 6:00 PM next to Madison Square Park. It is likely to draw upwards of 10,000 people. The free show has drawn controversy due to its questionable use of Flatiron North Public Plaza. However, it will be a treat for fans who could not ordinarily afford Kanye West’s tickets prices. Admission is free, but attendees will have to win tickets in one of several ways.
