Alexandra Silber is an accomplished actress who is best known for her role as Hodel in the Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof. She has recently published a novel titled After Anatevka: A Novel Inspired by Fiddler on the Roof. The book “imagines what happens to the characters of Fiddler on the Roof after the curtain falls.” Yesterday afternoon in Bryant Park, Silber was asked questions by journalism professor Alisa Solomon. She talked about her personal connection to the character she played, as well as what inspired her to write this book. Check out the video below to see what Silber had to say.
