Learn about Flatiron – “Jane’s Walk May 3-5”
Jane’s Walk NYC is an annual event held the first weekend in May. It is a global festival organized by the Municipal Art Society of New York City (MAS). The event will take place this year from May 3rd to May 5th. Jane’s Walk hosts free walking tours throughout New York City which are designed to encourage people to share stories about their neighborhoods. While walking, many can benefit by discovering hidden gems in their communities and connect with their neighbors, as well. After the success of last year’s tour, the Flatiron/23rd Street Business Improvement District (BID) will be participating in this free event again.
Join the Flatiron BID May 4 and 5 as they participate in Jane’s Walk. The tour will highlight some of the city’s most important landmarks in the historic Flatiron District. The 90-minute tour will be led by professional tour guides Fred Cookinham on Saturday, May 4th and Mike Kaback on Sunday, May 5th. Registration is required for all walking tours.
