Chick-fil-a Opens in the Flatiron District

One of the great aspects of the Flatiron District is that there is no shortage of food options in the area. There are restaurants, cafes, and to-go places on every block. A new addition is Chick-fil-a, right down the street from the NYC Seminar and Conference Center on 6th Avenue between 22nd and 23rd Streets. This is a perfect place to go if you want a fast lunch on a busy day. Don’t worry if the line is long; employees walk through the line with tablets to expedite your order. All of the employees are friendly and hospitable, with smiles on their faces. They take your order in a timely manner and it is just a short wait to receive your food.
The restaurant is clean and bright, with big windows looking out onto the street. There are seating areas and countertops, as well. Employees were sweeping and cleaning tables, and several asked us if we needed anything while we were eating. The staff could not have been more accommodating and attentive.
I ordered the Chick-fil-a deluxe meal (pictured below), which included a fried chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and pickles, an order of medium fries, and a drink. The sandwich was delicious, the chicken lightly fried and juicy. The waffle fries are always fun to eat, and I was full by the end of the meal.
Did you know that Chick-fil-a has breakfast too? You can stop off here in the morning before heading into the Conference Center. The menu is composed of a chicken biscuit sandwich, egg breakfast sandwiches, yogurt parfaits, hash browns, bagels, and more.
Take a very short walk down to Chick-fil-a during your next lunch hour and check out the new spot!
