Le Tea is one of the newest tea spots in town, located on Broadway between 25th and 26th Streets. Le Tea offers a variety of caffeinated teas, non-caffeinated drinks, and bubble tea. Le Tea carries different kinds of cakes and crepes for a light bite. This is a perfect place to go for a boost of caffeine between meetings at the NYC Seminar and Conference Center, or a place to hang out after a long work day.

One of the unique aspects of Le Tea is that they serve drinks in reusable plastic bottles with reusable metal straws. As someone who loves nature and wants to take care of the environment, I really appreciate this feature of Le Tea and and am thrilled to see an establishment support the cause. They also add an incentive to continue using the straw: if you bring back the straw and order nine more times, you can get a tenth drink free!

Not only is Le Tea environmentally friendly, the interior is trendy and chic. There are several tables in the front of the store with green and gold cushions to sit on, as well as high stools to sit at a bar. To match the green furniture, there are plants decorating the inside, as well. On the walls you will find copies of famous paintings with a twist. For example, there is a Botero painting of a woman holding a Le Tea drink! The employees were accommodating, friendly, and took time to explain the different drinks to me.

I ordered the “Cake Le Milk” drink, which was surprisingly more of a dessert than a drink. It was a non-caffeinated milk drink with a cake batter flavor. I ordered the drink with “half sugar,” which was the perfect amount of sweetener without being overbearing. It was very appetizing, but in the future I would probably order the drink as an “after-dinner dessert” rather than a midday drink. Next time, I will definitely try some of their other products, such as a fruit tea. I would highly recommend Le Tea to satisfy your tea cravings!

You can find Le Tea at 1134B Broadway, or call (832) 202-3419, or visit the website at https://letea-teahouse.business.site/
