Book your event at NYCSCC and enjoy the winter wonderland of the Flatiron District, NoMad, and Chelsea. From local parks, to Macy’s, to restaurants and bars, there is no shortage of holiday and post-holiday fun to be had. Before and after the holidays, you can schedule events ranging in size from 10 to 150 attendees, utilizing our wide array of flexible-use conference space. Then, after your event, venture out into a neighborhood that is no less packed with activities and sights to see in the winter months.
Take a stroll through Madison Square Park and see the Christmas tree through early January. Grab a free hot chocolate and gingerbread cookie from a distinctive gift-box-shaped pop-up.

Walk through the Flatiron North and South Public Plazas where you can view this year’s art and lighting installations, starting with “Tulip Lighting” by the Brooklyn architectural design firm Huo de Sousa, as you enjoy the holiday views of the Flatiron Building. Then take in the “Winter Glow” exhibits in December and January to add to the holiday spirit! And, as always, visit Shake Shack or the dog run; in our opinion, it’s never tocold for delicious shakes and burgers or watching the neighborhood pups play.
NYCSCC is not far from the Holiday Market in Bryant Park. Shop for gifts at distinctive jewel-shaped kiosks, go ice skating, and check out one of most impressive Christmas trees in NYC. If you can, go at an off hour to beat the crowd. If indoor shopping during the winter months is more your thing, check out Macy’s flagship location on 34th Street. And, at Bryant Park, don’t miss out on the opportunity for some holiday season skating fun at the seasonal rink that is set up and ready to go, where one can skate, to see and be seen!
Feel free to ask our staff for fun holiday dining suggestions in the neighborhood. Check out this article on our affiliated blog, Flatiron Hot! News, to learn about some of our favorite options for all budgets.
Happy Holidays to all of our Flatiron Hot! News Readers!
